Saturday morning she decided that she was going back home rather than staying until Monday as she had originally intended. She made a few calls to talk with other family members and a friend who lives in our area and left shortly before we did for a great-granddaughter’s beauty pageant that was being held not to far from our residence.
FUN IN THE SUN
Granna and I spent part of Saturday afternoon and evening with Rake, Cinderella and Candystick. Candystick had a practice game in the afternoon and the weather was perfect; a little cool wind blowing but perfect weather for playing softball. I took along my camera and snapped a few shots of the action.
CELEBRATION
After the practice game we made our way to Red Lobster where Granna and I treated the others to supper (dinner) in celebration of Cinderella’s birthday that was on Friday (same day as the twins). Due to the NASCAR race at the Atlanta International Speedway, the place was hoping. We had an approximate 45 minute wait to be seated. The meal was great. Broiled Tilapia for Grumps and Granna and a baked potato, fried flounder for Rake, fried shrimp for Cinderella, and grilled chicken for Candystick.
We all left feeling as though we had eaten. But, don’t get in too big a hurry. We ended our evening together with a stop at the local PetsMart store to see the animals and a stop at Dunkin Donuts for dessert which the four others consumed in a hurry when we got back to Rake’s and Cinderella’s. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day.

Thanks for being there and taking good photos. Also, thanks for the meal. I am still full.
